Willis Towers Watson celebrates brace of European Risk Management Awards

Willis Towers Watson won two awards for its innovations in cyber risk and captives at the prestigious European Risk Management Awards.

LONDON, 7 November 2017 - Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ:WLTW), a leading global advisory, broking, and solutions company, is celebrating winning two awards for its innovations in cyber risk and captives at the prestigious European Risk Management Awards.

The awards are led by the Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA) in conjunction with Commercial Risk Europe (CRE), the publication for the European corporate risk and insurance management community.

Willis Towers Watson won top place in the categories ‘Captive Management Solution of the Year’ and ‘Broker Innovation of the Year’. The results were announced at a ceremony in London last night.

The win for ‘Broker Innovation of the Year’ was given for Willis Towers Watson’s CyFly solution, which is designed to respond to the cyber risk concerns of airline clients.

Two thirds of cyber incidents are caused by employees, which is why we look at mitigating people, capital and technology risks to help clients foster a cyber-savvy workforce.

The win for ‘Captive Management Solution of the Year’ was given for Willis Towers Watson’s RADAR solution, which helps clients manage the OECD’s Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (‘BEPS’) framework.
