InFINite possibilities: the future of work in the new economy

The rise of technology in the financial sector continues to have broad and significant implications for human capital management — from organisation design to skill requirements, and the programs and processes used to drive and incentivise efficiency, performance and engagement.

Innovations, such as blockchain technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Everything are changing the nature of and requirements needed from human capital in today’s “on-demand” gig economy.

In the 2018 Willis Towers Watson APAC FinTech Conference — InFINite possibilities: the future of work in the new economy, co-hosted by Academy of Internet Finance, Zhejiang University, we had over 300 attendees from all over the world, including China, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, Singapore, the U.S., the U.K. and Taiwan.

Through our varied sessions, including plenary sessions, breakouts and panel discussions, we addressed how the latest FinTech innovations are affecting the way companies identify, source, secure and motivate human capital. Our speakers included prominent global and China leaders in the FinTech space.
