Anthony V. Dagostino
Global Head of Cyber Risk

Anthony Dagostino is responsible for the company’s global cyber strategy, product development and thought leadership. Focusing a majority of his career in cyber risk management, Anthony has a broad background in cyber insurance underwriting, broking, and related risk mitigation techniques in employee solutions, incident response, and vendor management. He also has a background in non-cyber financial lines insurance and alternative risk transfer programs. Anthony is a regular contributor to broadcast media, a wide array of publications, and industry events. In his leadership role at Willis Towers Watson, he focuses on developing and delivering an integrated cyber risk management proposition to help clients more effectively assess and minimize cyber risk across their enterprise. Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson in 2016, Anthony has held a variety of leadership roles with insurers Chubb (formerly ACE Group) and The Hartford, as well as, experience as a venture capital analyst focusing on emerging technology companies. Anthony is an active member of the FBI’s Infragard program and serves on the advisory boards of Forgepoint Capital, the world’s largest venture capital fund dedicated to cybersecurity, and for Rutgers University’s cybersecurity program.

Peter Foster
Executive Vice President, Global Sales Leader

Peter has eighteen years of experience providing risk solutions and strategic advice to large, complex corporations and financial institutions on privacy, network security (cyber) and technology errors & omissions risks and exposures. In his role, Peter is focused on providing strategic advice and risk transfer services to FINEX’s large financial services, health care, retail and defense contractor clients. He combines insurance and preventative risk management services while helping corporations adequately address cyber, technology, intellectual property and media liability risks.

Peter has led the development of policies and coverage. He developed an endorsement to respond to the expenses incurred when complying with data security breach notification laws. The cover is now offered by all of the cyberinsurance. Peter created one of the first intellectual property infringement policies and developed a financial institution cyber insurance policy that has resulted in a manuscript policy for large financial institutions.

Adeola I. Adele headshot

Adeola I. Adele, J.D.
Sr Director, Employee Solutions & Thought Leadership

Adeola leads the development of integrated solutions and global sales strategy within Willis Towers Watson’s Cyber Risk Solutions group, delivering an integrated approach designed to help organizations manage their cyber risk holistically across people, capital and technology. She also oversees the global thought leadership strategy for cyber.

Prior to her current role, she was the National Employment Practices Liability (EPL) thought and product leader, and cyber thought leader in Willis Towers Watson’s Financial & Executive Risk (FINEX) Practice. In that capacity, in addition to developing employment practices liability risk solutions, Adeola was responsible for FINEX’s cyber thought leadership strategy.

Before joining Willis Towers Watson in November 2014, Adeola worked with Marsh LLC from 2007-2014 where she served as the National EPL Product Leader, heading the development of an award-winning insurance and risk management product for wage and hour claims. The previous eight years, Adeola was employed at two highly respected law firms, Kaufman, Borgeest & Ryan LLP and Sedgwick, LLP, where she represented domestic and global insurers in coverage-related disputes and defended private companies, non-profits and municipalities in employment litigation matters.

She is a member of the American and New York Bar Associations and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society. Adeola was honored as a Black Achiever in Industry by the Harlem YMCA in 2011. In 2016, she was a recipient of the Business Insurance Women to Watch award.

Gregory R. Thomas headshot

Gregory R. Thomas
Director, Strategic Alliances

Greg is responsible for Willis Towers Watson’s strategic alliances in support of its global cyber strategy. His focus is on managing partnerships and working across the organization to develop integrated cyber risk solutions

His 19 years’ experience spans both the public and private sectors. Before joining Willis Towers Watson, Greg was a Supervisory Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation leading a counterintelligence team. He has extensive experience in intelligence collection, insider threats, economic espionage and counterterrorism. Prior to the FBI, he held various roles in the undersea fiber optic cable industry and worked as a ship broker.

Matt Palmer
Senior Director, Cyber Risk Management

Matt joined Willis Towers Watson as Chief Information Security Officer in 2014, leading the company through a major security transformation and a merger before moving to his new role, leading development of cyber risk management solutions.

An experienced global CISO and former web application developer, he began his career at KPMG before setting up his own business and then moving into financial services. He has led global security functions in retail banking, fund administration, alternative investments, private equity and insurance.

Matt is the founder of the Channel Islands Information Security Forum, and a former NHS Trust Governor, City Councillor, and non-executive director.

Tom Finan
Director, Cyber Risk Solutions, North America

Tom is the Client Engagement & Strategy Leader, North America, for Willis Towers Watson’s cyber risk solutions group. In this role, he advances the company’s integrated approach to cybersecurity across all aspects of people, capital and technology risk.

He previously worked as the Chief Strategy Officer of Ark Network Security Solutions. He also served as Senior Cybersecurity Strategist and Counsel with the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) National Protection and Programs Directorate. While at DHS, Tom established and led the agency’s cybersecurity insurance initiative in support of implementation of Executive Order 13636, “Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity.” To advance that effort, he created DHS’ Cyber Incident Data and Analysis Working Group (CIDAWG), a private/public engagement forum that examined how a cyber incident data repository could help meet the information and analysis requirements of both the insurance industry and technical cybersecurity professionals. Tom also launched DHS’ Cybersecurity Insurance webpage, which includes a report series about the CIDAWG’s findings.

Timothy Rees
Director, Cyber Risk Solutions, Great Britain

Tim is responsible for developing Willis Towers Watson’s integrated cyber risk approach in the U.K. He leads the client outreach strategy and engagements across the full range of people, capital and technology cyber risk solutions.

Prior to Willis Towers Watson, Tim worked for a U.K. software company, Blackdot Solutions, where he was responsible for client engagement across multiple markets — notably the legal and U.S. sectors — as well as the development of the investigative software to better suit clients’ evolving requirements.

He has delivered multiple projects for the EU and UN and other organizations in Africa, the Americas and the Middle East. Previously, he served as an officer in the British Army’s Intelligence Corps with deployments in Afghanistan, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and subsequently, U.K. Special Forces.

Corrado Zana
Director, Cyber Risk Solutions, Western Europe

Corrado is responsible for developing Willis Towers Watson’s integrated approach to cyber risk management across Europe and leads client outreach strategy and engagements across the broad range of human capital and cyber risk solutions.

He is a technology risk expert, partnering with Risk Managers, CIOs and CISOs to assess and control the enterprise risk profile, specifically the risks related to the adoption of new technologies and digital business models. After spending several years working in chemical process automation and risk engineering, Corrado moved toward the risk management area working for more than 20 years in the insurance (Zurich, Marsh) and telecommunication (Nokia) industries.

Corrado has supported multinational enterprises in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America in designing and implementing risk management frameworks focused on enhancing operational resilience and cybersecurity.

Joe DePaul

Joe is a 23-year veteran in the insurance industry, with a focus on the cyber sector for the last 15 years. He began his career underwriting and broking management liability and errors & omissions risk transfer solutions, gained further expertise working with M&A transactional products and most recently, cyber. He has held management and executive positions in underwriting, brokerage and MGA operations.

As a practice leader, Joe is responsible for the vision and establishing business goals for Willis Towers Watson’s Cyber Risk Solutions group. He leads the cyber business’ growth objectives and serves as a thought leader in the space.

Glyn Thoms

Glyn joined the FINEX Division of Willis Towers Watson in 2015 to head the London Cyber and TMT E&O capabilities.

He has worked in the London insurance market for 15 years specializing in cyber risk placements across a range of industry sectors as well as errors & omission placements, specifically in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors.

Glyn advises clients on program design, placement and risk profiling focusing on policy wording and coverage analysis.

Laure Zicry

Laure is responsible for cyber insurance and delivering cyber risk transfer solutions for clients in Western Europe. She has extensive experience in cyber risk management with a background in financial lines insurance, including directors & officers liability, professional indemnity and crime.

She is a regular speaker at industry events, has been published in numerous periodicals, and is also the author of books on the topic of cyber risk and risk management.

Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson in 2012, Laure held a variety of roles with insurers CNA Hardy and Nassau as well as gaining experience in the broking industry (Aon and Gras Savoye Willis Towers Watson).

Tom Kang headshot

Tom Kang
FINEX Cyber Product Leader

Tom is responsible for the development and orchestration of cyber insurance products globally. He provides clients with innovative solutions and develops and improves on alternative transfer capabilities.

Previously, he was the Enterprise Cyber and Tech Lead at The Hartford where he developed and executed a strategic vision for both cyber risk and tech product portfolios across all market segments and business lines. Tom organized and led cross-functional teams to design, manage and operationalize underwriting, product development and service solutions, including the development of proactive, underwriting and incident response services. Prior to this, he served as the Director of Cyber Services and Director of Cyber Claims at ACE (now Chubb). He oversaw the cyber claims team, managed vendor relations and launched cyber loss mitigation services.

Tom regularly serves on advisory boards for government and industry efforts to identify, aggregate and analyze cyber-related risk and exposures, and advanced cyber-related data collection and analysis within the company.
