    In 2016, Willis Towers Watson earned a place on Fortune’s list of the World's Most Admired Companies in the Diversified Outsourcing Services category for the fifth consecutive year.
  • Global Outsourcing 100®
    In 2018, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals included Willis Towers Watson on its Global Outsourcing 100 list for the seventh consecutive year.
  • Non-life transaction of the year at Trading Risk Awards
    Willis Towers Watson Securities and Generali were awarded the non-life transaction of the year at the 2017 Trading Risk Awards for their innovative Horse Capital I DAC structure. 
  • 2017 Insurance Insider Honors
    Willis Towers Watson was recognized in two areas (Inclusion and Diversity and Reinsurance Transaction of the Year) at the Insurance Insider Honors 2017. The annual awards program by Insurance Insider recognizes excellence in the reinsurance and global specialty industries.
  • Actuarial Post's 2017 Software of the Year award
    Willis Towers Watson's RiskAgility Suite software team received Actuarial Post's 2017 Software of the Year award, which is decided by public vote. RiskAgility Suite forms part of our Solutions for Life portfolio of integrated software, technology and consulting services.
  • 2016 Health Insurance Awards
    Willis Towers Watson received three 2016 awards for health benefits consulting: Best Cash Plans Intermediary, Best Individual Impact by a Newcomer and Health Insurance Intermediary of the Year. The company was also highly recommended in the Best Group PMI Intermediary category.
  • International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Gold Quill Awards
    The Communication and Change Management team at Willis Towers Watson won four IABC International Gold Quill Awards in 2016: two Awards of Excellence and two Awards of Merit.

  • The Asset Management Exchange and LifeSight business receive Pensions Age award
    Willis Towers Watson won two 2018 Pensions Age Awards for The Asset Management Exchange (AMX) and LifeSight business. The awards are hosted by Pensions Age magazine and showcase excellence within the U.K. pensions industry.
  • Transformational Deal of the Year award
    Willis Towers Watson India Insurance Brokers were awarded Transformational Deal of the Year at the Banking Financial Services and Insurance Awards 2018.
  • Best Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) end-to-end solution
    Willis Towers Watson’s process transformation technology, Unify, was awarded Best ERM end-to-end solution at the InsuranceERM Awards 2017.
  • 2017 Asia Insurance Industry Awards: Broker of the Year
    Willis Towers Watson was honored to be recognized by the insurance industry at the 2017 Asia Insurance Industry Awards with Broker of the Year.
  • European and U.K. Captive Awards
    Willis Towers Watson was recognized in three areas (Captive Manager of the Year, Actuarial Firm of the Year and Employee Benefits Consultant of the Year) at the 2017 European and U.K. Captive Awards. In 2016, Willis Towers Watson’s Global Captive practice received three major industry awards in the U.K.: Captive Manager of the Year, the Employee Benefits Specialist Award and the Solvency II Initiative Award.
  • 2017 U.S. Captive Awards
    Willis Towers Watson won two awards at the U.S. Captive Awards 2017 in the categories of Employee Benefits Consultant and Captive Health Care Specialist. 
  • 2017 European Risk Management Awards
    Willis Towers Watson received two awards (Captive Management Solution of the Year and Broker Innovation of the Year) at the European Risk Management Awards. The awards are led by the Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA) in conjunction with Commercial Risk Europe (CRE), the publication for the European corporate risk and insurance management community.

    In the U.K., Willis Towers Watson earned a spot on the list of Business Superbrands in 2017.
  • Corporate Innovation Award: Health and Wellness Vertical
    Willis Towers Watson was the recipient of the Corporate Innovation Award: Health and Wellness Vertical at the Plug and Play 2017 Winter Summit.
  • Corporate INTL 2017 Global Awards
    Willis Towers Watson was recognized at the annual Corporate INTL Global Awards for Business Risk Management Consulting Firm of the Year in Egypt, Energy Risk Management Consulting Firm of the Year in Canada and Public Sector Risk Consulting Firm of the Year in England. In addition, Willis Re won the award for U.K. Engineering & Construction Reinsurance Consulting Firm of the Year.
  • Business Leadership Award for Human Capital Management
    Ventana Research awarded Willis Towers Watson this honor in 2017.
  • Digital PR and Social Media Awards
    Willis Towers Watson received top honors in PR Daily’s 2017 Digital PR and Social Media Awards for the Health Care Marketing category in the U.S.
  • Singapore’s Best Remuneration Consultant
    Willis Towers Watson was awarded Gold for Best Remuneration Consultant, and Silver for Best Employee Engagement Consultant and Solution Provider at the HR Vendor awards in 2017.

    Willis Towers Watson earned a place on Exelon’s Diversity and Inclusion Honor Roll for the sixth consecutive year in 2016.

Regional and national recognition for corporate social responsibility

  • Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality
    In 2017, the Human Rights Campaign named Willis Towers Watson one of the Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality in the U.S. for the third consecutive year. The company again received 100% on the Corporate Equality Index.

  • Elite Women in Insurance 2017
    Anne Pullum, Chief Administrative Officer and Head of Strategy and Innovation at Willis Towers Watson, was named to the Elite Women 2017 list by Insurance Business America magazine.
  • 2017 Break Out Awards winners
    Four Willis Towers Watson colleagues were named 2017 Break Out awards winners by Business Insurance. The awards program recognizes outstanding performers with up to 15 years' experience in the insurance and risk management.
  • 100 Influential Women in Reinsurance
    Intelligent Insurer named Claire Farrelly, Managing Director, Risk and Financial Services, and Mary O’Connor, CEO of Financial Lines, among 100 Influential Women in Reinsurance in 2016. They joined Anna Catalano and Wendy Lane, members of the Willis Towers Watson board of directors who earned places on the list in 2015.

    Sadie Scaife, Senior Director, Risk Solutions at Willis Towers Watson, was named in the 2018 Timewise Power 50 awards, which celebrate the U.K.'s top flexible and part-time workers in business critical roles with non-traditional working patterns.
  • 2017 EMpower 100 Ethnic Minority Leaders list
    Netsai Mangwende, Head of Finance for Great Britain, was named one of the Top 100 ethnic minority executives in the 2017 EMpower Ethnic Minority Leaders list. The list, published by the Financial Times, ranks the Top 100 most influential black, Asian and minority ethnic leaders in U.K., Ireland, United States and Canada.
  • Power Broker® Rising Stars
    Risk & Insurance put four Willis Towers Watson colleagues on its 2017 list of Power Broker Rising Stars in North America while eight Willis Towers Watson insurance brokers received the 2017 Power Broker award.
  • Top HR Influencers in Spain
    Ana Matarranz was named to HR Digital's list of the Top HR Influencers in Spain called "Influential + Human Resources," a pioneering initiative by RRHHDigital.com that allows readers to vote for the most influential person in human resources in Spain in the current year.
  • Women to Watch Honorees
    In North America, Adeola Adele, a Senior Principal in the Executive Risk practice, was among Business Insurance’s 2016 Women to Watch honorees. In North America, Alice Underwood, the Global Leader of the company’s Insurance Consulting and Technology business, and in the U.K., Mary O’Connor, Head of Client, Industry and Business Development in Great Britain were among Business Insurance’s 2017 Women to Watch honorees.
  • Latin America Reinsurance Awards
    Tony Phillips, Managing Director of Willis Re Latin America, was named 2017 Reinsurance Broking CEO of the Year at Reactions Latin America Reinsurance Awards. Luis Maurette, Head of Willis Towers Watson Latin America, was named as Latin America Insurance Broking CEO of the year in 2016.
  • United Kingdom’s New Year Honours List
  • Rowan Douglas, Head of Willis Towers Watson’s Capital Science & Policy practice, was made a CBE in the United Kingdom’s 2016 New Year Honours List for services to the economy through risk, insurance and sustainable growth. The CBE is one of the U.K.'s highest national honors, bestowed by The Queen for distinguished service and innovation in any field.
