The Willis Research Network (WRN) is an award-winning collaboration, which harnesses over 50 partners in science, academia, think tanks, and the private sector to form innovative partnerships with the risk management and insurance industries; improving understanding of risk for the benefit of our clients and society.

LONDON, 25 October 2019: The Willis Research Network (WRN) is once again extremely proud to have many of its academic partners included in this year’s top university rankings.

During this time of year updated publications of annual university rankings are released by respected bodies such as the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings. In the recent 2020 publication, WRN partners continue to feature heavily in the top 20 global universities with five WRN partners being in the top ten institutions, including the top three leading UK universities Oxford, Cambridge and UCL.

Stuart Calam, Programme Director of the WRN said: ‘For thirteen years the WRN has recognised the immense contribution academia makes to understanding risk and supporting resilience. We have worked closely with our partners to bring that thinking into the (re)insurance world. It is with great pleasure that we recognise the continued global success of the WRN partners in the Times Higher Education University rankings.’

Professor Danny Ralph, academic director of the Centre for Risk Studies at the Cambridge Judge Business School said: “The Centre is pleased that the university has achieved this high rank.
