Willis Towers Watson conducted a survey with key industries in Thailand including IT & Telcom, Manufacturing, Financial services and Healthcare to find out how employers are moving towards a future workplace and managing emerging work options; from contingent labor to AI and robotics.

Our report examines where breakthroughs are needed and here are some highlights:

  • Organizations in Thailand are already planning to address talent deficits through workforce planning - assessing talent to identify “skills and wills” gaps.
  • Automation is here to stay and will increase from 8% today to 18% over the next three years.
  • Workforce automation enhances human capabilities and creates more opportunities for high skilled labor - this labor will command a pay premium.
