Willis Towers Watson expands Scott Burnett’s role as Head of Asia to include Corporate Risk & Broking in Asia

New appointment aims at growing the company’s bench strength and to drive business growth in the region

Willis Towers Watson announced the appointment of Scott Burnett as Head of Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) for Asia in addition to his role as Head of Asia.

SINGAPORE, 4 September 2018 — Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WLTW), a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, today announced the appointment of Scott James Burnett as Head of Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) for Asia, with immediate effect.

Scott, who is also currently Head of Willis Towers Watson’s Asia region, will now also head up the overall operations of CRB Asia.  He will continue to be based in Singapore.

This strategic appointment is part of a key business drive to grow Willis Towers Watson’s bench strength and accelerate its CRB growth ambitions in Asia. “We see tremendous opportunities to increase market penetration and continue our business growth in this region. Scott is an astute strategist who sees the future very clearly and aligns strategies accordingly. Over the last two years, Willis Towers Watson has seen strong growth of its CRB business in Asia, particularly in the North Asian markets, Indonesia and Malaysia, with optimistic growth plans for the business as countries in Asia ride the next wave of economic and technological changes ahead.
