Hong Kong, 24 March 2020 – Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WLTW), a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, has won the Best Multi-Asset House category in Asia Asset Management’s Best of the Best awards 2020.
The award recognises Willis Towers Watson (WTW)’s mission to put forward an investment strategy which enables asset owners to take advantage of their ability to invest with a long-term horizon and to seek to add value across all market cycles.
One such solution is the Towers Watson Partners Fund (the Fund), an endowment style multi-asset, multi-manager solution that looks to source the best investment ideas across all asset classes. Initially launched in 2006 as Oxford Investment Partners to primarily manage the endowment portfolios of a number of Oxford University colleges, the fund is constructed to allow for strong returns in a volatile investment and economic environment.
The judging panel was impressed by the unique global multi-asset approach the fund’s team has developed, drawing on the very best investment ideas from WTW’s global research team. The approach focusses on investing in a wide spectrum of asset classes, including both private and public markets, and various alternative/hedge fund strategies. This enables the fund to spread risk across several different asset classes, mitigate the impact of economic events and achieve good returns.
