LONDON, 15 November 2018 – Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WLTW) has appointed Graham Knight as Head of Natural Resources  within its GB Corporate Risk & Broking business, with immediate effect.

Knight brings a strong set of skills and competencies to this role, having formerly led the Downstream Natural Resources division, serving a global client base in the Oil, Gas & Chemicals, Power & Utilities, Renewable Energy and Metals & Mining sectors.

Alastair Swift, Head of Corporate Risk & Broking, GB, Willis Towers Watson, said “Graham brings a wealth of experience to this role and a deep understanding of the changing risk profiles of Natural Resources companies.  His strategic and collaborative approach will enable us to further concentrate our focus on this dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.  Today’s announcement demonstrates our ongoing commitment to clients in this area.”

Graham Knight commented “I am very excited to lead such a talented team of specialists and look forward to bringing the best of our sector knowledge and capability to help grow and protect our clients’ businesses.  Natural Resources companies are currently facing an unprecedented mix of complex issues, including geopolitical and regulatory challenges, rapid advances in technology, sustainability, changing business models and an extraordinary frequency of very large losses impacting their operations – all of which are elevating risk management to the Boardroom.  We are building out our team across all geographies to support companies operating across the many sectors of Natural Resources.
