Willis Towers Watson appoints Elke Vagenende as Head of Western Europe for FINEX

LONDON, 11 October, 2018 — Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WLTW), a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, today announced the appointment of Elke Vagenende as Head of its Western Europe region for FINEX, a division that focuses on financial, executive and professional risks.

She brings over 20 years of industry experience to her new London-based role, which she started recently. She was previously Head of Market Management, UK, with Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS).

In her new role, Vagenende will work closely with global FINEX specialists and risk advisers in the individual countries across Western Europe to develop opportunities and growth in line with the Global FINEX strategy.

Vagenende was at AGCS for over six years and held a number of senior positions, including Head of Financial Institutions, Financial Lines. She was previously at Liberty Mutual, BP, and Siemens. She is fluent in English, Dutch, German and French, and has a passion for promoting inclusion and diversity.
